QVC host Toni Brattin experienced a moment of extreme embarrassment on air Wednesday after a verbal slip-up that has since gone viral. While presenting a "Salon Select Wig," Brattin intended to describe the hairstyle as a "blowout" but instead said "blowjob."
Appearing visibly rattled, Brattin whispered "oh my God" and began to laugh as her co-host, Terri Conn, attempted to maintain professionalism. Brattin then dropped to the floor in mortification, her hands frozen in the air.
Conn later shared the moment on Instagram, writing, "The show must go on π Love you, Toni Brattin!" The post garnered supportive comments, including one from "Queer Eye" alum Karamo Brown, who joked, "Im buying one just because πππ."
Actress Amy Sedaris also shared the clip, commenting, "This is LIVE TV for ya!"
Brattin herself has shown a sense of humor about the incident. She later posted a clip of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" host Jimmy Fallon poking fun at her on-air gaffe. Fallon, mimicking Brattin's pose, quipped that the wigs were sold out and added, "Note to all the married men, the wig is only available on your birthday."
Brattin responded to Fallon's segment, writing, "Aaaannnnnd Jimmy Fallon makes it even funnier."
Brattin, an Oklahoma native, has been in the beauty industry for over 30 years, selling her wigs and hair extensions through QVC and her own website.
In other QVC news, longtime host Rick Domeier announced his retirement at the end of the year after 32 years with the network.
