The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, made an appearance at Wimbledon for the Women's Final, dressed in a striking red ensemble. As Patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, she was greeted by Sally Ambrose, a member of the Committee of Management of The Championships.

Among the guests joining the Princess in the Royal Box were political figure Kemi Badenoch and actors Jodie Foster and Hannah Waddingham. In previous rounds, the Princess had deviated from tradition by visiting outside courts, rather than exclusively residing in the Royal Box. She was observed interacting with members of the public who had queued for tickets, even assisting in handing out grounds passes.

The Princess also posed for photographs, including selfies with attendees, and was heard offering well wishes to those receiving their tickets. She described the queue system as an 'accessible' entry point.

Earlier, the Princess extended her congratulations to British tennis player Arthur Fery via X (formerly Twitter) following his quarter-final victory. Fery, however, was later defeated in the Gentlemen's Singles semi-finals.

The Women's Final featured Linda Noskova and Karolina Muchova, neither of whom had previously secured a Grand Slam singles title. Muchova was competing in a major final for the first time since the French Open three years prior, having experienced a career pause due to a wrist injury. Noskova, reflecting on her Wimbledon run, mentioned the importance of resetting mentally after a disappointing French Open performance.

During her visit, the Princess also met with various individuals associated with the tournament, including court coverers, individuals involved in coin tosses for finals, and doubles finalists. As a keen player herself, the Princess of Wales traditionally presents the trophy to the winner of the tournament.
