Princess Andre attended the Superdrug Star Awards in London on Tuesday, took home the Superdrug Icon of the Year trophy and kept a publicly neutral stance amid renewed public tensions between her parents, Katie Price and Peter Andre.
The 18-year-old influencer posed for photographs at the beauty industry ceremony with her stepmother, Emily, and television personalities including Love Islanders Liberty Poole and Dejon Noel Williams. Andre wore a black crop top, light blue straight-leg jeans, black stilettos and silver accessories for the event and was seen carrying the award after it was presented.
Princess has sought to limit social-media negativity about her family, writing on Instagram Stories that she loved both of her parents and would block users who brought "negativity" to her page. In a Snapchat post cited by media outlets, she wrote that people needed to stop bringing family disputes to her account and that her page was "for positivity only." The comments came after tensions between her parents escalated publicly last month.
Reports in British tabloids say a fresh dispute was inflamed after Princess was photographed with boxer Paris Fury and Fury's 15-year-old daughter Venezuela at a separate hair and beauty event over the weekend. A source told The Sun that Price was angered by the images and questioned why she was not able to appear in public with her daughter in the same way. Daily Mail has contacted Price’s representative for comment.
The renewed public focus on the family coincides with resurfaced footage from the 2000s reality series that featured Price and Andre, which has been shared online in recent weeks. The footage, reported by the Daily Mail, includes scenes in which Andre is heard berating Price; social commentators have described the clips as evidence of manipulative behaviour. One clip cited by the Mail contains explicit language and shows an angry exchange between the couple during a trip.
Peter Andre, 52, addressed questions about his public image in an interview with The Telegraph last week, saying, "Well, look, nobody's perfect. No-one's perfect in this world. Everyone makes mistakes." He declined to answer further questions about his ex-wife in that interview and said people would form their own views of him after meeting him.
Princess’s public appearances and social-media statements arrive amid renewed reporting about her family life following the launch of the teenager’s own reality show, which has brought the long-running feud between Price, 47, and Andre back into the public eye. Previously published reports have described efforts by members of the parents’ teams to shape public perception of the split and its aftermath.
At the awards, Princess posed for photographs, accepted her trophy and appeared to maintain a low-key approach to the surrounding controversy, declining to engage in public comment beyond her previous social-media posts about positivity on her platforms. Organisers of the Superdrug Star Awards did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
