Princess and Junior Andre have unveiled matching tattoos dedicated to their father, Peter Andre, a move that comes after they shared feelings of being "neglected" by their mother, Katie Price.
The siblings, aged 19 and 21 respectively, revealed the tattoos, which bear the word "unconditional," during a segment at the ITV2 Reality Showcase. This word is significant as it is the title of a song Peter Andre wrote in honor of their older brother, Harvey.
"We wanted to get something that is very relatable to us as a family because unity, love and togetherness is really important to us," Junior Andre explained. "Our dad wrote a song for Harvey named the word [we had tattooed]."
Princess Andre elaborated on the song's meaning, recalling lyrics that reference becoming a father figure before being a biological dad. She explained that the song was inspired by Peter Andre's role in Harvey's life, as he became a stepfather to Harvey when he married Katie.
Harvey's biological father is Dwight Yorke, who has had limited involvement in his life. Harvey has autism, Prader-Willi syndrome, and septo-optic dysplasia.
The tattoos and the accompanying revelations were shared following the airing of Katie Price's four-part Sky documentary, "Katie Price: Nothing To Hide." While Junior and Princess appeared in the series, they admitted in an episode of "The Princess Diaries" that the documentary placed them in an "awkward position" due to its candid exploration of their childhood.
"The new documentary put us in an awkward position," Princess stated. "We love both our parents and want to be there for them."
During their appearance at the reality showcase, the siblings also discussed the recent truce between their parents, Peter Andre and Katie Price, which ended a 16-year feud. Princess noted that the truce and her show "came along. It worked out. It is way more fun for me to have them in the show."
Junior added, "She's our mum we only have one mum own it. If it is important for us to have important relationships with both our mum and our dad. Everything feels better and normal since the truce."
Princess also confirmed plans to launch her beauty brand in September and expressed a desire to participate in "I'm A Celebrity" only with her brother. "We would only do it together," she said. "I don't think siblings have ever done it. We can be the first. We are the only jungle babies it is calling us."
Looking back at their mother's past struggles, including a public breakdown in the late 2010s, depression, and a cocaine addiction, the siblings recalled having to fend for themselves and their younger siblings, Jett and Bunny, at ages 13 and 10 respectively. This recollection led to them becoming tearful during their appearance in Katie's documentary.
In a separate anecdote from the "Princess Diaries" episode, Princess spoke about her mother's relationships, noting that her mother's love life stories are "extreme." She added, "As long as she is happy then I'm happy." During a FaceTime call with Katie, who was in Dubai, Katie showed Princess the results of recent cosmetic surgery, a revelation Princess met with a nonplussed, "Am I shocked? No."
