Pixie Lott, 34, was photographed showing her baby bump in an unbuttoned blue-and-white striped shirt and matching tie as she stepped out in London this week, weeks before she is due to welcome her second child with husband Oliver Cheshire.

The singer, who is already mother to a 23-month-old son, paired the tailored top with beige bubble shorts and brown fur heels as she headed to a waiting taxi. She wore her hair in a neat ponytail and appeared in good spirits during the outing.

Lott has spoken in recent months about balancing pregnancy, parenthood and work. In interviews she said motherhood has given her a new focus and changed her perspective, prompting her to embrace change after years of feeling nostalgic. She told the Daily Mail that being a mum and expecting another child, moving house and learning life lessons had shown her "what is really important in life." She added that everything she does is with her son in mind and described her new single as a "coming of age" after becoming a parent.

The singer and model Cheshire moved back to Essex after about 15 years in London, a relocation Lott described as fitting "for this stage of my life," with the couple finding it useful to have family nearby. The couple married in June 2022 at Ely Cathedral after multiple postponements related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Lott announced her second pregnancy live on stage at London's Mighty Hoopla earlier this year, after keeping her first pregnancy private until later in the term. She revealed the couple's first child in June 2023 with an Instagram post showing her then-bump while Cheshire kissed her stomach.

She has continued to perform while expecting. Lott told The Sun this month that she expects her final festival appearance, at Flackstock, to fall about four weeks before her due date and that her doctor had cleared her to continue performing so long as she felt well. She said the physical demands of looking after a toddler while pregnant have felt more tiring than live shows, where adrenaline helps carry her through.

Lott and Cheshire, who first met at a Select Model catwalk show in 2010, became engaged in November 2016 when Cheshire proposed on the steps of St. Paul's Cathedral. The couple have spoken publicly about wanting a large family; Lott previously described herself as "a very big family girl."

As she prepares for the arrival of her second child, Lott has been promoting new music and settling into her new home in Essex, saying the changes have helped her focus on both family life and her career.
