Phoebe Dynevor and Patrick Schwarzenegger were spotted filming intimate scenes for their upcoming romantic comedy, "Beach Read," in Toronto on Tuesday. The actors shared passionate kisses on set, bringing to life the story based on Emily Henry's best-selling novel.

Dynevor, known for her role as Daphne in Netflix's "Bridgerton," will portray romance writer January Andrews. Schwarzenegger, son of Arnold Schwarzenegger, is cast as Gus Everett, another author who becomes the object of January's affection. The novel, first released in 2020, centers on two literary rivals who unexpectedly cross paths and engage in a writing challenge, vowing to avoid romance.

The film's synopsis describes January as a successful romance novelist facing grief and writer's block after her father's death and the uncovering of his hidden secrets. While preparing his Michigan beach house for sale, she reconnects with Gus, a college rival. Both creatively stalled, they agree to a summer writing swap, exchanging literary genres with a promise of no romance.

Filming saw Dynevor, 31, and Schwarzenegger, 32, engaging in steamy embraces and strolling along the beach. The pair appeared relaxed on set, at times sharing giggles.

Dynevor recently addressed her absence from "Bridgerton" since its second season. She told Collider that while she has not been asked back, she would return if approached. "Bridgerton," based on Julia Quinn's books, premiered in 2020 and has since released four seasons, with the latest airing in January.
