Live Phish Experience
Phish is known for its improvisational live performances, with no two shows being alike. A review of their December 31, 2024, New Year's Eve concert at MSG showcased a setlist featuring songs like "Mike's Song," "Weekapaug Groove," "Stash," and "Carini" in the first set, followed by "Sigma Oasis," "Sand," and "First Tube" in the second. The third set included "Character Zero" and "Chalk Dust Torture," with an encore of "Grind" and "Tweezer Reprise."
The band released their 16th studio album, "Evolve," on July 12, 2024. The album features a diverse range of songs, with tracks like "Hey Stranger," "A Wave Of Hope," and "Monsters" noted for their unique sounds. Another track, "Valdese," has been described as Beatles-esque.
Comedian Max Fine described attending a Phish concert as a unique experience, stating that "Every show is special and unique because they don’t plan for it." The live shows are characterized by their improvisational nature and the freedom attendees experience.
Other notable artists touring in 2026 include Dave Matthews Band, Goose, Billy Strings, Widespread Panic, and Tedeschi Trucks Band.
