Comedian Peter Kay made an unexpected appearance during a live BBC weather report on BBC North West Tonight. As weather presenter Molly Brewer delivered her forecast, Kay joined her on screen, gatecrashing the segment.
This impromptu interruption echoed a notable incident from 2011 when Kay famously interrupted the late Dianne Oxberry's weather forecast, humorously remarking that she "made it sunshine for everybody."
Kay's appearance comes as he is set to host a one-off charity show at Blackpool's Opera House next month. The event aims to raise funds for vital heart treatment in the United States for 19-year-old Fin Cormack, who hails from Prenton, Merseyside.
