C Restaurant, Perth's sole revolving dining establishment, will cease operations on January 31, 2027, after more than 20 years of service. The closure is attributed to the redevelopment of St Martins Tower, the 33rd-floor building it has occupied.

Over its two decades, the restaurant has hosted over two million diners, becoming a popular spot for special occasions, including proposals, anniversaries, and milestone birthdays. The owners expressed gratitude to patrons for making the venue a cherished part of their lives.

"It has been the greatest privilege to welcome more than two million guests through our doors, to be part of your proposals and anniversaries, your milestone birthdays, first dates and quiet celebrations, with the whole of Perth turning slowly below," the owners stated. They invited customers to celebrate the restaurant's final months.

The announcement has prompted an outpouring of sadness from loyal customers, many of whom shared memories of significant life events celebrated at the restaurant. Many described it as a go-to venue for important personal milestones and expressed dismay at the loss of such an iconic establishment.

Customers can still book tables for high tea, lunch, or dinner before the restaurant's final service. The owners emphasized a desire to celebrate the remaining time with the community that supported C Restaurant throughout its history.
