Peacock announced the cast for Love Island Games Season 2 on Tuesday, revealing 14 former Islanders who will return to Fiji to compete in the Ariana Madix-hosted series. The two-hour premiere is set for Sept. 16 at 9/8c on Peacock; new episodes will air every day during premiere week and then nightly except Wednesdays.
Madix returns as host, with Ian Stirling serving as narrator and Maura Higgins hosting the weekly after show. According to a Peacock press release, the series — which, like the flagship show, will air in real time this season — will pit Islanders in team and couple competitions for a cash prize while they navigate dating, eliminations, recouplings and new competitive twists that “help control the game like never before.”
The announced cast includes Andrea Carmona, who first appeared on Love Island USA Season 6. Carmona was the subject of a widely discussed dumping in Season 6, when fellow Islanders Serena Page, Leah Kateb and Liv Walker voted her out just as she was building a connection with Rob Rausch.
Andreina Santos, introduced to Love Island USA audiences during Season 7 by Megan Thee Stallion, is also on the roster. Santos lasted only a short time on Season 7 after Casa Amor but remained active in post-show conversations and appeared at the Season 7 reunion.
Charlie Georgiou, another returnee from Love Island USA Season 7, was eliminated shortly after appearing to solidify a connection with Hannah Fields. Georgiou’s abrupt departure from that season and the subsequent reunion exchanges kept his storyline prominent among fans.
Chris Seeley, who competed on Love Island USA Season 7, is a professional basketball player and was part of a viral moment late in Season 7 when a singer serenaded him and his then-partner during a date after they ended their relationship on the show.
Garbi Denteh, a runner-up on Love Island Belgium Season 4, joins the international lineup. Denteh has described herself as an underdog on previous editions and is expected to bring a competitive spirit despite calling herself “not a very sporty person.”
Isaiah Campbell, who finished second in Love Island USA Season 4 with Sydney Paight, returns to the villa after a post-show breakup that followed incidents reported outside the show. Campbell’s Season 4 run and subsequent public relationship developments were widely covered after the series aired.
Kay Kay Gray of Love Island USA Season 5 is included among the competitors. Gray, an original Islander on Season 5, left the villa alongside Keenan Anunay after he was dumped; the pair later split months after leaving the show.
Kendall Washington, notable from Love Island USA Season 6 and the companion series Love Island: Beyond the Villa, will also compete. Washington’s time on the franchise was marked by dramatic moments that kept him in the post-season conversation.
Lucinda Strafford, who has appeared on both Love Island UK Season 7 and Love Island Australia Season 5, is the most-followed Islander on the Season 2 cast list. Strafford’s dual appearances on different international editions make her a familiar face to a global Love Island audience.
Mert Okatan joins from Love Island: Nederland & België, having appeared on two seasons of that edition. Okatan, a former professional soccer player, has said he will bring a naturally competitive edge to the Games.
Nicola Gauci Borda-Warr, who competed on Love Island Malta Season 1, has prepared intensively for the competition, telling producers she has been training multiple times daily in advance of filming.
Solène Favreau, a finalist from Love Island France Season 2, also appeared in the most recent season of Below Deck as a stewardess. Favreau was involved in a love triangle aboard that series and is described by producers as fun and flirty.
Tyrique Hyde, a former semi-professional soccer player who finished third on Love Island UK Season 10, is among the international competitors. Hyde left his original season with a finalist connection but the relationship ended soon after the show.
Josh Goldstein, who appeared on Love Island USA Season 3, rounds out the announced cast. Goldstein’s first season was marked by a personal tragedy when his older sister died while he was in Fiji; his then-partner Shannon St. Clair left the villa with him, and the pair dated intermittently for two years before splitting in 2023.
Peacock described the second season as building on the original Love Island format by adding game elements that increase contestants’ control over eliminations and recouplings. The network’s scheduling for daily real-time episodes during premiere week mirrors the show’s aim to engage viewers in near-live storytelling, and the inclusion of returning contestants from multiple international editions continues the franchise’s trend of cross-series casting.
Love Island Games Season 2 premieres Sept. 16 on Peacock, with new episodes streaming according to the announced schedule. Ariana Madix, Ian Stirling and Maura Higgins will return in their respective hosting and narrative roles as the Islanders compete for the season’s cash prize.
