Parker Posey turned heads on the 2025 Emmy Awards red carpet Sunday with a 45-carat pear-shaped emerald necklace and an array of statement jewels, marking her first appearance at the prime-time ceremony.
The longtime character actress arrived in a ruffled lavender lace Valentino gown and was outfitted in multiple Sabyasachi designs. The centerpiece necklace featured a 45-carat pear-shaped emerald set amid roughly 50 carats of aquamarine and diamonds. Posey completed the look with a sapphire, pear-and-diamond ring, chandelier earrings incorporating aquamarine, coral and morganite, and sequin-covered heels.
Posey, nominated this year for outstanding lead actress in a drama series for her portrayal of Victoria Ratliff in Season 3 of HBO’s The White Lotus, also presented an award alongside co-star Walton Goggins during the broadcast. Goggins wore a white suit accessorized with snake-themed pieces by David Yurman.
Though this is her first time attending the main Emmys broadcast, Posey previously received an Emmy nomination in 2024 for her role in the Prime Video series Mr. and Mrs. Smith. On the red carpet she told E! that Season 4 of The White Lotus is currently filming in the South of France but she had “no idea if I’m in it.”
In interviews earlier this year, Posey said she was pleased by the viral response to her Season 3 character, telling Page Six in June that she “wasn’t surprised” Victoria had become an internet sensation and that she was “very, very happy” people were imitating her performance.
Design and jewelry houses played a prominent role in the evening’s fashion coverage, with Sabyasachi credited for the layered gemstone statement pieces Posey wore.
