Pamela Anderson, who rose to fame as C.J. Parker in the original Baywatch series, revealed that she has not been contacted by producers of the upcoming 2027 reboot.

"No one's reached out to me," Anderson told Deadline. "I don't know much about it."

The 59-year-old actress, who starred in the hit show from 1992 to 1997, has no plans to participate in the new iteration, which is slated to premiere on Fox in January 2027.

Despite being one of the original series' most recognizable figures, Anderson stated that she has "no plans of going back to Baywatch." She noted that while her sons, Brandon Thomas Lee and Dylan Jagger Lee, were approached about producing, "I don't think they had a meeting of the minds."

Anderson, who appeared in 77 episodes over five seasons, also reprised her role in the 2003 movie, Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding. She reflected positively on her time on the show, calling it a "great job" that provided "worldwide exposure."

However, Anderson expressed a desire to explore new opportunities. "Everything I've done has led me to here, which is a blessing. But I have no plans of going back to Baywatch," she said. "Now is my time to really play with different characters. I want to make really bold choices. I want to surprise people. I want to surprise myself."

Newcomers Brooks Nader, Shay Mitchell, and Stephen Amell are set to star in the reboot, which will also be available for streaming on Hulu. Representatives for Anderson and Fox did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
