Outlander: Blood of My Blood is moving toward its midseason arc with Episode 8, titled "A Virtuous Woman," set to premiere Friday, Sept. 19 on Starz and the Starz app. New installments drop on Fridays, and episodes will be available to stream on the Starz app at midnight local time. For viewers who prefer a Friday night broadcast, Episode 8 will air on Starz in the United States at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT and at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT in Canada.
Last week’s episode delivered two major developments. Hermione Corfield’s Julia Moriston discovered a letter from Henry Beauchamp, suggesting that at least one of Claire’s parents knows the other is alive. Separately, the Grants publicly accused Ellen MacKenzie of being “ruined,” a narrative turn that could affect her betrothal to Malcolm Grant and Clan MacKenzie if her status changes.
The season's episode guide shows ten episodes in the first season. Episode 9, titled "Braemar," is scheduled to air Friday, Sept. 26, followed by no episode on Oct. 3. Episode 10, "Something Borrowed," is set for Friday, Oct. 10.
The series has already been renewed for Blood of My Blood Season 2, with production underway in Scotland. The storyline follows Henry and Julia, who began their journey in 1917 before traveling back to 1714 Scotland; last week's reveal places their timeline in the summer of 1715.
