As the highly anticipated release of Grand Theft Auto VI approaches, OnlyFans creator Skylar Mae has voiced her opinion on the debate surrounding virtual relationships within the game, urging women to relax their restrictions on boyfriends playing. The game, known for its mature content since its 1997 debut, has sparked discussions about whether in-game romantic interactions or visits to virtual strip clubs constitute emotional infidelity.

Mae stated that she believes women are being overly concerned with fictional relationships. "They could be out at a real strip club or actually cheating on you in real life," Mae told Jam Press. "It’s the same thing with OnlyFans. Hey, at least they’re doing it at home and not physically cheating on you with someone else!"

Her comments come in response to a trend on TikTok where some women have declared that their partners are banned from playing GTA VI. These bans are often attributed to the game's features, which can include players maintaining relationships with the game's characters, such as the lead duo Jason and Lucia. Some users have also expressed disapproval of the game's strip clubs and other mature themes.

One TikTok user, Shelby Haas, who has over a million followers, shared a video stating her fiancé would not be allowed to play the game due to these features. The video generated significant debate in the comments, with some agreeing and others arguing that such concerns reflect personal insecurities.

Mae, however, aligns with those who view such bans as excessive. She suggested that women might find it more beneficial to play the game themselves. "My advice is to 100% play the game for yourself!" Mae said. "I think these girls should just jump on the game, take a look and chill out, because at least their boyfriends aren’t cheating on them in real life!"
