Olivia Wilde's latest film, "I Want Your Sex," is set to be released on digital platforms for purchase and rental on Tuesday, September 1. The movie, directed by Gregg Araki, premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival in January.

"I Want Your Sex" is described as an "erotic comedy thriller" starring Wilde as a provocative modern artist named Erika. Cooper Hoffman, known for his role in "Licorice Pizza," plays Erika's timid and sexually repressed assistant, who is guided by Erika in exploring BDSM. Araki co-wrote the script with Karley Sciortino.

The film will be available for digital purchase and rent starting at 12 a.m. Eastern Time on September 1, which is 9 p.m. Pacific Time on August 31. It can be accessed through platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango At Home. Prices may vary, with Amazon Prime listing the rental price at $19.99 and the purchase price at $24.99. Renters will have a 48-hour window to watch the film after starting playback.

As of now, "I Want Your Sex" is not available on any subscription-based streaming services. The film's distributor, Magnolia Pictures, does not have a specific output deal with a single streaming service. While a previous Magnolia Pictures film, "Normal," was released on HBO Max approximately four months after its theatrical debut, there is no guarantee that "I Want Your Sex" will follow the same path. It is possible, however, that the movie could become available on HBO Max around late November 2026, roughly four months after its initial theatrical release. A DVD release date has not yet been announced.
