Pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo has launched a new collection of five LEGO sets, marking her as the first musician to have multiple dedicated LEGO creations. The new sets, available since August 1, draw inspiration from her music, iconic performances, and personal style.
Each set includes an exclusive Olivia Rodrigo minifigure, designed to represent different moments in her career. Rodrigo expressed her excitement about the collaboration, noting that the sets contain "so many pieces of my world inside these sets – little nods to songs, memories, outfits and moments that mean a lot to me."
Among the notable releases is a 1,228-piece LEGO guitar. This detailed model features a dual design, with one side in shades of purple reflecting her debut album "SOUR" and the other side matching the aesthetic of her "GUTS" album. The electric side of the guitar opens to reveal two minifigures, each with different outfits and guitars.
Another set, a 670-piece recreation of a stage element from the "GUTS" Tour, rests on a turntable. This design includes hidden compartments for displaying items like polaroids and concert tickets.
Rodrigo has also partnered with LEGO Botanicals for a unique bouquet set. The 400-piece collection features 11 stems, including a flower with guitar-shaped petals, alongside other elements like red cherries, yellow stars, butterflies, and black hearts, referencing motifs from her work.
A 1,085-piece set incorporates a red megaphone, a prop Rodrigo used nightly during her "GUTS" Tour. This set also includes a case that opens to reveal compartments for a songwriting notebook, a CD, a microphone, and a guitar. A TV atop the case displays a Rodrigo minifigure in her signature cheerleader outfit, evoking imagery from the "Good 4 U" music video.
Additionally, a 360-piece vinyl set is adorned with symbols associated with Rodrigo, such as red lips, butterflies, and a red megaphone, alongside an autograph plaque and star elements. This set also features a minifigure dressed in an outfit from the "SOUR" tour.
The collection incorporates numerous references to Rodrigo's career, including elements that nod to her Filipino heritage. The collaboration allows fans to build and explore aspects of Rodrigo's artistic world.
