Olivia Jade Giannulli attended the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of Jacob Elordi’s new horror film “Frankenstein” on Monday, reuniting with the actor days after she was seen dining with Glen Powell in New York City.
Elordi, 28, posed for photographers on the red carpet at the Princess of Wales Theatre before meeting Giannulli, 25, who arrived wearing dark sunglasses and a white dress. Video obtained by People shows Elordi escorting Giannulli up the theatre steps and briefly helping carry the train of her gown as the two entered the screening together.
The appearance came after photographs posted online showed Giannulli and Powell, 36, dining at Il Cantinori in New York on Sept. 5. Celebrity gossip blog DeuxMoi published images of the dinner, and reports said the group later went on to the Treasure Club. Us Weekly cited an insider who said Giannulli and Powell are "close friends" and "not dating." Page Six reported on the reunion in Toronto and said it reached out to representatives for Elordi, Giannulli and Powell for comment.
Giannulli and Elordi had reportedly ended an on-again, off-again relationship in early August. A few weeks after that split, Giannulli posted a video saying she was experiencing "uncomfortable changes" and seeking therapy, adding, "I think summer gets painted as this, like, carefree, perfect, kind of month or two, and I’m here to remind you that it’s totally normal if you’re feeling a little off or a little nervous during big transitions or seasonal transitions or whatever it may be."
Local fans in Toronto shared snaps and videos on X as the pair arrived for the premiere. Elordi appeared in good spirits as he posed for photographers before Giannulli joined him, and several images from the event circulated on social media.
Powell was previously linked to model Gigi Paris, and reports that he had dated Sydney Sweeney in 2023 were publicly denied by those involved. Giannulli, who earlier this summer said she had moved to Paris, has remained a frequent presence in entertainment and lifestyle coverage as she balances her social media career with public appearances.
Elordi’s "Frankenstein," which premiered at TIFF, adds to a slate of high-profile festival screenings this year. The Toronto International Film Festival attracts actors, filmmakers and industry attention each September, and premieres often prompt red-carpet appearances by partners and guests.
Representatives for Elordi, Giannulli and Powell did not immediately provide comments to Page Six, which reported the Toronto appearance. More information about the actors’ personal relationships has been reported by various entertainment outlets; those outlets attributed sightings and statements to photographers, social posts and unnamed insiders.
The public reunions and reported sightings follow a summer of changes for Giannulli and continued media interest in the private lives of actors attending high-profile festivals and screenings.
