Olivia Attwood has said she will put the £1 million Cheshire house she shares with husband Bradley Dack on the market after what she described as a "challenging" six months for the couple.
Attwood, a television presenter and former Love Island contestant, said she and Dack have spent little time at the property as her work has taken her to London and Dack’s football commitments have kept him in Kent with Gillingham Football Club. She told The Sun the couple had been "umming and ahh-ing" but decided Cheshire "doesn't work for us anymore because we're not there." The house, which she first showed in 2020 on her series Olivia Meets Her Match, is home to the couple's two dogs, Lola and Stitch.
Attwood said the move follows a string of incidents that have unsettled the family, including a break-in in July while she was working in Spain that she said was stopped by her private security team. Speaking on social media at the time, she said intruders smashed a second-floor window and entered the property but were chased off within minutes by security and dogs. Attwood has said she has been the victim of three burglaries in recent years and described the experience of someone being in her home as "so horrible."
The decision to sell comes amid a separate public controversy after Attwood was photographed on holiday in Ibiza appearing to cosy up to longtime friend and television personality Pete Wicks. Images of Wicks with his arm around Attwood on a yacht drew criticism online and prompted negative chants directed at Dack at his matches. Attwood told the Daily Mail she understood why Dack had been upset by the photos but insisted she and Wicks are "just good friends and work colleagues." She said the couple's relationship was "not perfect" but that they remain together.
In the interview with the Daily Mail, Attwood said she and Dack had been navigating the pressures of two demanding public careers and acknowledged mistakes on both sides. "Me and Brad never pretend to have a perfect relationship," she said, adding that their schedules often take precedence and that they must constantly work at the relationship. She described the last six months as "really challenging for us."
The Ibiza photos were taken at a boat party where Attwood said friends and colleagues were drinking and hugging. The images provoked commentary from fans and the tabloid press and were followed by reports of a falling-out with a former close friend and assistant, Ryan Kay, who has reportedly cut ties with Attwood.
Attwood told The Sun she had previously used an apartment in London as a base for filming and that the couple had been effectively living apart because of work commitments. She said the Cheshire house will "go on the market very soon." Details about estate agents, asking price confirmation and the couple’s plans after a sale were not provided in the interviews.
Representatives for Attwood and Dack did not immediately respond to requests for further comment. The couple, who have kept their relationship in the public eye through reality television and social media appearances, have previously shared aspects of their home life with audiences, and the sale would mark a change in how and where they live while pursuing separate professional commitments.
