Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher and lead guitarist Noel Gallagher have been seen together in Venice, sparking rumors of an upcoming second tour. The brothers, who famously endured a bitter feud that led to the band's split in 2009, appeared amicable as they boarded a water taxi on Friday.

Their presence in Venice coincides with the upcoming release of their documentary film, "Oasis: Don't Look Back In Anger," which chronicles their 2025 reunion tour. The film is set to premiere in cinemas worldwide on September 11.

The brothers, aged 53 and 59 respectively, are in the city for the film festival. Liam was seen in a khaki coat, while Noel opted for a navy jacket and jeans. Noel was accompanied by a mystery blonde woman.

Recent reports suggest Oasis is on the verge of announcing a second tour, following the immense success of their comeback shows last year. A source told the Daily Mail that the new tour has been in the making for some time and the band is preparing to launch it. "Unlike last time there's not such a panic about whether Liam and Noel will get on, there isn't the drama around it. It's just a case of them looking forward to getting on stage. 'Oasis-mania is coming back!'" the source said.

Brothers Liam (53) and Noel (59) Gallagher are in Venice for the film festival.

The potential new tour dates are expected to be formally unveiled next week, offering another chance for fans who missed out on tickets for the initial reunion shows. The demand for the comeback tour was extraordinary, leading to extensions of the original 14 dates in Britain and Ireland. Millions of fans attempted to secure tickets, with the band describing the demand as 'phenomenal.'

However, the previous ticket sales were not without controversy. Fans reported lengthy online queues and significant price increases for standing tickets. This led to an investigation by the Competition and Markets Authority, which raised concerns about Ticketmaster's sales practices.

The reunion itself marked a significant moment in British music history, as the Gallaghers put aside years of animosity. Oasis had not performed together since their acrimonious split in 2009, following a backstage argument between the brothers at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris. Noel had issued statements at the time indicating he could no longer work with Liam due to what he described as intolerable verbal and violent intimidation.

The announcement will mark the next chapter in one of the most remarkable comebacks in British music history.

The documentary trailer features Noel admitting reservations about reuniting, stating, 'I just don't see myself on stage with Liam. I don't really want to go back with the tension, will it fall apart again?' He later acknowledges Liam's impact on fans, adding, 'I'd forgotten what he [Liam] means to people. I certainly wasn't prepared for the intense outpouring… a sense of what it meant to people.' Liam, in turn, expressed a desire to 'change the narrative of the band' as they walked on stage together.

The documentary, which includes the brothers' first joint interview in over two decades, will also be available on Hulu and Disney+ in the U.S. later this year. Advance tickets for the cinema release are currently available.
