Oasis has unveiled the official trailer for their upcoming Disney documentary, "Oasis: Don't Look Back In Anger." The film, scheduled for release in cinemas worldwide on September 11, documents the band's reunion tour, Oasis Live ‘25, marking one of the most anticipated comebacks in rock history. Advance tickets are now available on Fandango.
The trailer captures the journey from the initial idea of reuniting to the band taking the stage. In a rare joint interview, the first in over 20 years, Noel Gallagher expressed reservations about the reunion, stating, "I just don't see myself on stage with Liam. I don't really want to go back with the tension, will it fall apart again?" He also reflected on Liam's impact on fans, admitting, "I’d forgotten what he [Liam] means to people. I certainly wasn’t prepared for the intense outpouring… a sense of what it meant to people."
Liam Gallagher offered a different perspective in the trailer, saying, "We have got a chance to change the narrative of the band." The documentary promises an "unapologetically uplifting account of the biggest musical event of 2025," offering behind-the-scenes access during rehearsals, backstage, and on stage. It also explores the profound emotional impact of the band's music on audiences across generations.
Oasis famously split 15 years ago following numerous backstage incidents and arguments stemming from the brothers' turbulent relationship. Their reunion tour last year comprised 41 dates, beginning with a large concert at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium for over 70,000 fans.
Reports indicate that Oasis has scheduled a 12-night residency at Manchester's Etihad Stadium starting in June, followed by a six-night run at Knebworth in September. These planned dates build on the band's historic 1996 concerts at Knebworth. The tour was initially planned to be announced during the World Cup, given the connection between the song "Wonderwall" and the England football team.
Earlier this year, ticket site Premier Events listed potential Oasis shows at Knebworth Park for summer 2027, with dates purportedly running from June 4 to August 29, under the title "Oasis Live '27."
The documentary "Oasis: Don't Look Back In Anger" will also be available to stream on Hulu and Disney+ in the U.S. later this year.
