The new Oasis documentary, "Don't Look Back in Anger," is set to premiere in movie theaters nationwide this Friday, September 11. The film follows the English rock band on their 2025 world tour, capturing rehearsal and on-stage performances, as well as the first joint interview with brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher in more than 10 years.
Oasis, formed in 1991 and known for hits like "Wonderwall," disbanded in 2009 following a prolonged period of estrangement between the Gallagher brothers. The documentary arrives after the duo reconciled and announced their reunion for a 2025 world tour.
Directed by Will Lovelace and Dylan Southern, with writing by Steven Knight, "Don't Look Back in Anger" is currently only available to view in theaters. Information on showtimes and locations can be found via Fandango.
The documentary is distributed by Disney and is expected to eventually stream on Disney+. While a specific Disney+ release date has not been announced, a similar release pattern to other Disney films suggests it could be available on digital platforms by mid-November 2025 and begin streaming on Disney+ around mid-December 2026. There is no indication that the film will be available on Netflix.
Disney+ offers various subscription tiers, including options with ads for $11.99 per month and ad-free subscriptions at $18.99 per month or $189.99 annually. Bundles with Hulu, and potentially other services like Max and ESPN+, are also available, offering discounts of over 40% on multi-service subscriptions.
