North West made a striking appearance at Paris Fashion Week, debuting new lip piercings at the Vetements Menswear Spring/Summer 2027 show on Friday. The 13-year-old was seen displaying several facial adornments, including piercings on the bridge of her nose, studs below her eyes, and angel bite piercings on her upper lip.
West paired the piercings with her signature blue wig, styled in a half-up, half-down fashion. Her outfit included a long-sleeved black shirt, a matching mini tennis skirt, tights, and black combat boots. It remains unclear if the piercings are permanent or faux.
This latest look aligns with West's established artistic persona. In March, she showcased a similar edgy aesthetic in her music video, “#n0rth4evr,” which featured faux stud piercings on her face, heavy makeup, fingerless gloves, spiked accessories, and combat boots. Her music, including the song “Piercing on My Hand (Ye’s version)” with her father Kanye West, also reflects her interest in piercings and tattoos.
In February, West revealed additional hand piercings, drawing public attention and criticism. Despite this, her mother, Kim Kardashian, has previously defended West's creative expression, stating that allowing her daughter to explore her artistic style brings her happiness and that she would not stifle that creativity.
