North West, the 13-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, appeared at Paris Fashion Week sporting new nose and lip studs. Her latest accessory choices come after a previous social media uproar last year when she revealed a dermal finger piercing.

During her appearance at the Vetements menswear show, West was observed with spiked studs around her mouth and jewelry on her nose. It remains unclear if these were permanent piercings or stick-on embellishments. She also shared images of herself wearing the jewelry on her Instagram page.

Last year, West's dermal finger piercing, which involves a small anchor placed under the skin, sparked significant criticism. Many expressed concern about the potential risks, including infection and scarring, associated with such procedures for a minor. Kardashian faced public backlash for permitting the piercing.

West responded to the criticism in December via a TikTok post. In January, she appeared to reveal additional dermal piercings on her fingernails.

In May, West released a music video for her song "#N0rth4evr," in which she featured faux facial piercings. The video, styled with a "found footage" aesthetic, included appearances with stick-on piercings near her eye and nose.

West has also been developing her music career, recently collaborating with Lil Novi, son of rapper Lil Wayne. Their joint track, "MULA THA ROOT OF ALL EVIL," was accompanied by a music video featuring West with blue hair and other visual elements. West is one of four children Kardashian and West share, alongside Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.
