Thirteen-year-old North West has canceled her first headlining tour, the Kimokawaii Tour, which was set to feature rapper Molly Santana. The 14-date tour was scheduled to kick off on August 5 in Dallas, Texas, but was scrapped days before its debut.
West announced the cancellation via a since-deleted Instagram Story on Friday, expressing her disappointment. "I was really excited to go on tour with Molly Santana," she told her followers, promising that "something special" would be planned for fans in the future.
Molly Santana also addressed the cancellation in a statement on social media, apologizing to ticket holders for the change. "To everyone who bought tickets to the tour, I sincerely apologize," Santana wrote. "I know a lot of you have taken time out of your schedules and spent your hard earned money planning to be there." She vowed to "make this one up" to her supporters and indicated new music is forthcoming.
The tour's official website has been taken down, and multiple shows on Ticketmaster were marked as canceled. Representatives for West and Santana did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
West and Santana previously performed together in May at the Rolling Loud festival in Miami. This performance followed the release of West's EP, "N0rth4evr."
Kim Kardashian has previously spoken about her daughter's interest in music, telling Complex in February that North West "loves producing music and wanted to share it with the world and isn’t afraid if people will like it." Kardashian noted that her daughter is independent in her creative pursuits, similar to her father, Kanye West.
North West first entered the music scene in 2024 when she was featured on the song "Talking / Once Again" by Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign. Her early performances include singing "I Just Can't Wait to Be King" at a Hollywood Bowl concert celebrating "The Lion King" and rapping on FKA Twigs' "Childlike Things" in 2025. She has also performed original songs at several of her father's concerts.
