Country singer Nikki Lane, 42, is expecting her first child with husband Wade Crescent. Lane, who describes herself as the "First Lady of Outlaw Country," announced the pregnancy on Instagram on Wednesday.

The announcement comes more than a year after she and Crescent married in Meeker Park, Colorado. Lane posted a photo of herself cradling her baby bump, sitting on Crescent's lap, with their golden retriever. "Honeymoon souvenir. Baby Crescent coming soon," she captioned the image.

Friends and fellow musicians offered congratulations in the comments. Jade Jackson wrote, "Ahhhhh YES! Amazing!!!" while Charley Crockett added, "Congratulations."

Lane shared in a September 2025 interview with The Sydney Morning Herald that she felt fortunate to have found a partner after a challenging romantic past. Her previous marriage at age 25 to musician Joseph Plunket ended in heartbreak, inspiring her 2017 album "Highway Queen," particularly the song "Forever Lasts Forever."

She met Crescent, an English-born businessman and co-owner of the Los Angeles bar Desert 5 Spot, through mutual friends in 2023. He proposed during a road trip to Aspen, Colorado. "I felt a pang of excitement. He had a ring on him and we got engaged," Lane said.

Reflecting on her journey to find a partner, she posted on social media, "you wait forever to find your best friend and partner - you have to make up for lost time."
