Nicole Kidman, 59, has revealed that she must alter her disguise for attending raves in Ibiza after inadvertently disclosing her secret passion for clubbing. The revelation came during an appearance on "The Tonight Show" with Jimmy Fallon.
Kidman admitted to using a brunette wig and sunglasses as part of her incognito efforts. However, after discussing her Ibiza nightlife on the program, she realized her cover had been compromised. "I gave away my cover," Kidman stated, explaining her intention to adopt a different look.
Fallon expressed surprise upon learning of Kidman's rave attendance, to which she responded by asking the audience if others partook. When asked if she attended as herself or in disguise, Kidman shared details about her usual method, prompting her decision to change her strategy.
Last month, Kidman spoke with British Vogue about her holiday routine on the party island, which includes clubbing at 1 a.m. with friends. She described her Ibiza activities as either a small dinner party or a rave, stating, "I'm either playing Scrabble or I'm out. It's that simple."
Regarding her rave preparation, she outlined a schedule involving dinner at 10:30 p.m. and heading to a club at 1 a.m., where she dons glasses and, at times, a dark wig. She noted that she feels comfortable as long as she is surrounded by people.
Kidman also shared her experience attending a Charli XCX show in New York, an event that surprised the artist. In a 2024 interview with People, Kidman described herself as shy but expressed a desire to "lose it" on the dance floor at raves.
Earlier, when asked by Amelia Dimoldenberg if she meant warehouse raves, Kidman confirmed, describing herself as a "person of extremes" with a specific interest in techno music. This contrasts with her preference for intimate gatherings, as mentioned in her British Vogue interview.
