Nicole Kidman has revealed she must change her preferred disguise for attending raves in Ibiza after inadvertently revealing her methods. The 59-year-old actress shared that her previous incognito look, consisting of a brunette wig and sunglasses, is no longer sufficient to maintain her anonymity.
Kidman discussed her secret passion for clubbing on the Spanish island during an appearance on "The Tonight Show." When host Jimmy Fallon expressed surprise at her rave attendance, Kidman explained that she had previously divulged details about her disguise in an interview. "I did an interview where I said I wear a little black wig, or some sort of disguise and I go out, yeah," she said, adding, "So I'll have to wear something different."
Fallon humorously responded that he would join her, to which Kidman quipped, "You don't have to do it with me."
Kidman first revealed her Ibiza holiday routine to British Vogue, describing it as a choice between a small dinner party or a rave. Her typical rave night involves dinner at 10:30 p.m. and heading to a club at 1 a.m. She mentioned using a wig and glasses as part of her disguise to blend in, emphasizing that she feels comfortable as long as she is with friends.
Her attendance at a Charli XCX "Brat" tour show in New York also made headlines, with the artist expressing disbelief that Kidman was present. "Like the Nicole Kidman is at my show… what the f*ck?" Charli XCX recounted.
In a 2024 interview with People, Kidman described herself as shy but expressed a desire to "lose it" on the dance floor at raves. She also noted a preference for intimate gatherings, aligning with her comments to British Vogue about balancing rave nights with smaller social events. Previously, after the 2024 GQ Men of the Year event, she told Amelia Dimoldenberg that she is a "person of extremes" and enjoys techno music specifically, confirming her interest in warehouse raves.
