Nicole Kidman made a surprise appearance in Sydney on Friday, delighting fans at a special screening of "Practical Magic 2" at HOYTS Cinemas Entertainment Quarter.

Viewers reacted with cheers and applause as the 59-year-old actress entered the theatre, announcing, "I couldn't let you have margaritas without me!" She was met with a standing ovation, and later led the audience in a midnight margarita toast.

Kidman, who was dressed in an ivory satin and lace floral dress from Erdem's Resort 2027 collection, commented on her enduring connection with her fans. "It's really lovely 28 years later, as women, to still be here," she told the crowd. "So thank you for decades and decades of support. I love you."

Viewers at the special showing were stunned to see the Hollywood star reacting with roaring cheers and applause to her sudden arrival as she announced: 'I couldn't let you have margaritas without me!'

Her daughter, Faith, was also in attendance at the Sydney event. Kidman had flown to Australia to surprise her fans after attending the Los Angeles premiere of "Practical Magic 2" earlier in the week. At the LA event, Kidman's playful red carpet demeanor, including a somewhat flustered response to a question about her designer attire, "This is Versace. Have fun. Let's party!", amused social media users.

The movie star went on to reveal she had flown to Australia to surprise her fans Down Under after walking the red carpet for the Los Angeles premiere on Monday

In "Practical Magic 2," Kidman reprises her role as Gillian Owens alongside Sandra Bullock, who returns as Sally Owens. The film, adapted from Alice Hoffman's 2021 sequel story "The Book of Magic," is set 25 years after the original movie. Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest also return to reprise their roles as the eccentric aunts. The film is scheduled for cinema release on September 10.
