The actress's off-the-shoulder dress featured a sculptural design with floral embellishments around the sweetheart neckline. Crafted from Chanel's wool crepe, the gown was detailed with silk crepe, silk organza, and rafia, according to a brand press release. The ensemble presented a tea-length silhouette that ended above the ankles, contrasted by exaggerated hips and a thigh-high slit revealing Kidman's left leg.
Kidman completed the look with black Chanel pumps and styled her blonde hair into a loose bun. She accessorized with diamond drop earrings and layered diamond rings and a watch on her left wrist.
The actress is nominated as an executive producer for the Apple TV+ series "Margo’s Got Money Troubles," in which she also stars as a former professional wrestler named Lace. The show features an ensemble cast including Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Nick Offerman.
This marks Kidman's return to the Emmys after a nine-year absence. She last attended in 2017, winning the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series for her role in "Big Little Lies." For that appearance, she wore a red Calvin Klein gown.
