Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are reportedly taking steps to repair their relationship and rebuild a friendship, according to insiders cited by Woman's Day. The couple, who separated in September 2025 and finalized their divorce in January, are said to be prioritizing co-parenting their daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15.
Rumors suggest the pair may have recently met in Paris, where Kidman was celebrating her birthday. This reported meeting follows a period of renewed communication between the actress and the country music singer, with recent social media interactions hinting at thawing tensions. Urban shared a birthday tribute to Kidman last week, and she acknowledged him on Father's Day by posting a photo of him with their daughters.
"They've tentatively agreed to meet in private and to get back to the job of parenting the girls together," a source told the publication. The insider added that communication has shifted from limited exchanges to rebuilding a supportive friendship, making discussions easier.
While Kidman is reportedly keeping any new romantic interests private, she is said to be quietly dating a "high-profile businessman" with whom she has been developing a low-key relationship for the past few months.
Kidman, 59, and Urban, 58, were married for nearly 20 years before their separation. Earlier in 2026, reports linked Kidman to Paul Salem, 62, the Chairman of the Board of MGM Resorts International, though a TMZ report at the time clarified they were not dating. Salem, who divorced his ex-wife in 2021, is a businessman with significant experience in private equity and is also an owner of the Worcester Red Sox.
