Nicola Thorp, a presenter on the ITV program 'This Morning,' has announced she is pregnant with her second child. The 37-year-old shared the news on Instagram on Saturday, posting a professional photoshoot with her husband, Nikesh Patel, 40, and their daughter. In the images, their daughter is seen kissing Thorp's baby bump, which she showcased in a green dress. "Sparking pregnancy rumours…" Thorp captioned the post.

Fellow celebrities offered congratulations. Oti Mabuse commented, "Congratulations lovely," while Dermot O'Leary posted a heart emoji. Carol Vorderman sent "Mahoosive congratulations" and Kym Marsh wrote, "Congrats lovely."

Thorp, who previously played Nicola Rubinstein in the soap opera 'Coronation Street' for two years after joining in 2017, has transitioned from acting to journalism and presenting. She has been a regular commentator on 'This Morning' since 2020 and has also co-hosted TalkTV's 'Talk Today.'

Thorp has also been an advocate for equal rights since 2016, when she gained attention after being dismissed from a receptionist role for refusing to wear high heels. She and her husband participated in the reality show 'Celebrity Hunted' in 2023. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, a year later. At the time of her daughter's birth, Thorp shared, "We are delighted to say that we recently welcomed our beautiful baby daughter into the world. Everything they say about birth being a rollercoaster of emotions is true. We're shattered and smitten and everything in between."
