Nicola Roberts, 40, shared radiant images of herself cuddling her newborn daughter during a recent afternoon outing at Kenwood House. The Girls Aloud singer welcomed her baby girl with fiancé Mitch Hahn in May.
Roberts appeared to be enjoying new motherhood as she soaked up the sunshine at the 17th-century country house. She wore a strapless black top paired with a cream patterned maxi skirt, while her baby slept peacefully in a grey onesie. Roberts captioned the photos with "Pretty summer afternoons at Kenwood."
The singer announced the birth of her daughter on May 24, revealing she had welcomed her child a "couple of weeks ago." She shared a series of photos on Instagram, cradling her baby and expressing her joy. "Our beautiful baby girl is here. We haven’t stopped staring at her perfect little face or kissing her softest little head," Roberts wrote. "She arrived healthy and content a couple of weeks ago at 38 weeks weighing 6.5lbs and is thriving. It’s heaven on earth with her and we can hardly believe she’s ours."
Her announcement was met with congratulations from fans and fellow celebrities, including Patsy Kensit and Keisha Buchanan.
Roberts is the last member of Girls Aloud to become a mother. Her bandmate Sarah Harding died in 2021. Cheryl Cole has a son, Bear. Kimberley Walsh has three sons. Nadine Coyle has a daughter.
Previously, Roberts had revealed she underwent surgery at 22 weeks pregnant to help keep the baby in, which led her to withdraw from her final performances in the West End musical Hadestown. At 34 weeks pregnant, she stated she had been instructed by doctors to rest for the remainder of her pregnancy. She noted that while she would miss her pregnancy bump, she looked forward to feeling more comfortable.
