Nicola Peltz, wife of Brooklyn Beckham, has issued a lengthy statement addressing alleged ongoing disputes with her husband's family, claiming they have attempted to control narratives and damage her relationship with Brooklyn.

Peltz stated that for years, her parents have managed press narratives about their family, describing their social media posts, events, and relationships as inauthentic. She asserts that her parents have gone to great lengths to spread lies in the media, often at the expense of innocent individuals, to maintain their public image.

According to Peltz, her mother-in-law, Victoria Beckham, canceled making her wedding dress at the last minute, forcing Peltz to find an alternative designer. She also claims that weeks before the wedding, Brooklyn's parents pressured him to sign away the rights to his name, which could have impacted their future children. Peltz stated that Brooklyn's refusal to sign affected his relationship with his parents.

Peltz further alleged that during wedding planning, her mother-in-law called her "evil" for choosing to include her and Brooklyn's grandmothers at their table. She also described an incident where family members allegedly told Brooklyn that Peltz was "not blood" and "not family" the night before their wedding.

The actress also detailed an event where she claims her mother-in-law hijacked Brooklyn's first dance with her at their wedding. Peltz described the moment as uncomfortable and humiliating, stating that they wished to renew their vows to create new, positive memories of their wedding day.

Peltz added that her husband has felt disrespected by the family despite their efforts to reconcile. She mentioned instances where Victoria Beckham allegedly invited women from Brooklyn's past into their lives. Peltz also recounted a situation where, after traveling to London for David Beckham's birthday, they were reportedly rejected for a week while waiting for quality time. When David Beckham eventually agreed to see his son, Peltz claims it was on the condition that Nicola would not be invited, which she described as a "slap in the face."

She characterized the Beckham family's values as prioritizing public promotion and endorsements over family, stating, "Brand Beckham comes first." Peltz believes that family "love" is demonstrated through social media posts or immediate availability for photo opportunities, even at the expense of professional commitments.

Peltz concluded by stating that she and Brooklyn do not desire a life dictated by image, press, or manipulation. Their goal, she explained, is to find peace, privacy, and happiness for themselves and their future family. She stated that since stepping away from her family and standing up for herself, her lifelong anxiety has disappeared, and she wakes up grateful for the life she has chosen.
