Nick Ferrari marked his 10-month wedding anniversary with a heartfelt tribute to his wife, Clare Goodwin, on stage at the TRIC Awards ceremony on Tuesday night. Ferrari, 67, received the award for Radio Talk Show, competing against nominees from TalkSPORT Breakfast, TalkSPORT Drive, and Woman's Hour.
During his acceptance speech, Ferrari expressed his gratitude to Goodwin. "Can I say a big thank you to my wife of 10 months, it's our 10 month anniversary," he stated. He further elaborated on his appreciation, noting Goodwin's efforts in maintaining their family unit, which includes children from previous relationships. "She works so hard to keep my two children, her two children and our children together as a family unit," he said.
The couple married in August of the previous year in the south of France, following a decade of dating. Their wedding was attended by celebrities including Christopher Biggins, Myleene Klass, and Piers Morgan. Biggins officiated the ceremony, while Myleene Klass performed on the harp, and Piers Morgan delivered a reading.
Prior to the French celebration, Ferrari and Goodwin had a civil ceremony at the Old Marylebone Town Hall. Goodwin, a radio producer, is 15 years younger than Ferrari.
Ferrari announced his engagement to Goodwin in January, sharing the news on the television program This Morning. He had proposed at their favorite restaurant in the South of France after they had spent Christmas in Lapland. He recounted proposing during their trip to the South of France, stating, "after ten years together I said she can make an honest man out of me."
Ferrari, known for his weekday breakfast show on LBC, has previously been married and has two sons from his previous marriage. He has spoken sparingly about his current wife, though he mentioned in 2017 that she was a colleague.
