Niall Horan's Saturday concert at Hershey Park Stadium in Pennsylvania was postponed at the last minute due to severe weather warnings. Horan was scheduled to perform with American singer Thomas Rhett.

The decision to postpone was made after consultation with meteorologists who advised that the area was expected to experience thunderstorms. Horan announced the postponement in a video posted on Instagram, explaining that he and his team, along with promoters and meteorologists, had been monitoring the weather since the morning.

"We've been sat with our teams and the promoters and meteorologist all morning since 9am and it feels like there's a lot of severe weather in the area and some bad weather conditions and thunderstorms threatening the show," Horan stated in the video. "So, we've been kind of forced into a corner and we will have to reschedule a show to tomorrow night."

He assured ticket holders that they could attend the rescheduled show on Sunday, or receive a full refund if unable to make the new date. Thomas Rhett added that they wanted to deliver the prepared performance, which could not be guaranteed for Saturday due to the weather. The venue's availability for Sunday allowed for the rescheduling.

Hershey Park Stadium confirmed the postponement, stating, "SHOW UPDATE: Given the current severe thunderstorm watch for the remainder of the evening, the THOMAS RHETT & NIALL HORAN show tonight has been rescheduled for TOMORROW, July 19, at 6pm for the safety of our guests, the artists and our team members."

Horan, a former member of One Direction, released his fourth studio album, "Dinner Party," on June 5, following his 2023 album "The Show." He has spoken about his solo career as a slow build aimed at longevity, inspired by artists with extensive careers. The singer also commented on the possibility of a One Direction reunion, noting that his former bandmates are experiencing significant success in their solo careers.
