Netflix has released the trailer for its upcoming film, "The Mosquito Bowl," directed by Peter Berg. The movie follows four prominent college football players who enlist in the U.S. Marines following the attack on Pearl Harbor.

As they prepare for the invasion of Okinawa, the players participate in a pivotal game, known as "The Mosquito Bowl," against other top athletes. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Buzz Bissinger and stars Nicholas Galitzine, Bill Skarsgård, Ray Nicholson, Tom Francis, Brent Comer, and Pat McAfee.

Peter Berg, known for directing "Friday Night Lights" and "Lone Survivor," helms this World War II drama. The story highlights players like Tony Butkovich, a first-round draft pick who chose the Marines over the NFL and was later killed in action in the Pacific Theater.

Tom Francis stands in costume as Dave Schreiner.

"The Mosquito Bowl" is scheduled to be released in theaters on October 30 and will begin streaming on Netflix on November 25. The trailer suggests a film with a brutal tone, characteristic of Berg's previous work.
