Naomi Campbell showcased a sculpted silhouette in a black wrap dress at the London premiere of One Battle After Another, joining a lineup of cast and high-profile guests on the red carpet at the Odeon Luxe in Leicester Square on Tuesday night.

Campbell, 55, posed alongside model Sabrina Elba, 36, who wore an angular black blazer dress and black heels. Leonardo DiCaprio, the film’s lead, attended in an open-buttoned black shirt and matching suit and was accompanied on the carpet by co-star Teyana Taylor, who arrived in a black bralette with a long grey skirt and blazer. Other attendees included Neelam Gill in a white satin halter neck dress, Maya Rudolph in an off-the-shoulder black dress, and a number of industry figures and collaborators.

One Battle After Another, written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, is an adaptation of Thomas Pynchon’s 1990 novel Vineland. The film—reported to have a production budget in excess of $130 million—follows DiCaprio’s character, Bob Ferguson, a dishevelled revolutionary living off-grid with his daughter, Willa, whom he shares with Teyana Taylor’s character, Perfidia. The plot tracks Ferguson’s reconnection with old allies as he searches for his daughter. Benicio Del Toro plays a mentor figure, Sean Penn appears as Col. Steven J. Lockjaw, the film’s antagonist, and Regina Hall plays fellow revolutionary Deandra.

The premiere comes ahead of a revised release date; the film was originally slated for Aug. 8 but has been pushed to Sept. 26. It marks Anderson’s first feature since 2021’s Liquorice Pizza and reunites the director with an ensemble cast that has already drawn significant industry attention.

Speaking about the project in publicity ahead of the premiere, DiCaprio praised Anderson’s body of work and said, "Any time that he asks, you work with PTA. This guy is like one of the great visionary filmmakers of my generation." The film has also received enthusiastic early reactions from fellow filmmakers. Steven Spielberg, among those who previewed the movie, described it as an "insane" picture with intense action in its opening hour and called it both bizarre and relevant.

Guests on the red carpet represented a mix of fashion and film: Naomi Campbell added sunglasses to her ensemble and was photographed arm in arm with filmmaker Fernando Sulichin; Neelam Gill swept her hair into a sleek ponytail; Caroline Daur wore a backless black dress with gold-toed heels; and Edward Enninful opted for a navy suit. Actor Joel Edgerton appeared in a beige casual suit, while musician Sam Ryder and actor Austyn Farrell rounded out attendees in more relaxed looks.

Early critical response and endorsements from established filmmakers have heightened expectations for One Battle After Another, which balances elements of high-stakes thriller and black comedy. The premiere’s attendance underscored the film’s profile within awards-season conversation and the continuing draw of Anderson’s distinctive filmmaking style.

The film will open wide following its new late-September release date, when wider reviews and box-office performance will begin to crystallize the impact of what the director and cast are billing as a major cinematic event.
