New York City will soon experience the flavors of Nando's, the South African-born fast-casual restaurant chain that has garnered significant popularity in the UK. The eatery will launch its first-ever U.S. presence with a three-week pop-up event in SoHo, located at 341 Broome Street, beginning Saturday, June 27.
Nando's, established in 1987, is renowned for its PERi-PERi chicken, a flame-grilled dish marinated for 24 hours and coated in a signature sauce made from the African Bird's Eye Chilli. The pop-up will feature this signature dish alongside other popular items such as the Sunset Burger, Wing Roulette, and PERi-Salted Chips. An extensive sauce station will also be available.

The three-week event is set to include a variety of activities. Opening day on Saturday, June 27, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., will offer free food and a watch party for the England vs. Panama World Cup match hosted by UK rapper Aitch and streamer Max Khadar.
Further programming includes a music event on Thursday, July 2, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., featuring jungle and drum-and-bass artist Nia Archives. Collaborations with New York staple Utopia Bagels will begin Saturday, July 4, and run through Saturday, July 11, offering a limited-edition crossover product.
Additional music performances are scheduled for Thursday, July 9, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., with appearances by A$AP NAST and PDP Soundsystem. The event series will conclude on Saturday, July 11.
