Morrissey has canceled his upcoming Las Vegas residency, scheduled to begin Friday, August 14, citing "unforeseen logistical challenges." The announcement comes just a week before the first of four planned performances at the Wynn Las Vegas.
The dates have been removed from the Wynn Las Vegas website, and Ticketmaster's event pages now confirm the cancellation, stating, "Unfortunately, the Event Organizer has had to cancel your event." Information on obtaining refunds is provided.
Despite the Las Vegas cancellation, other tour dates across North America, Europe, and the UK appear to remain scheduled. Representatives for Morrissey and Wynn Hotel have not yet provided further comment.
This is not the first time Morrissey has canceled shows with little notice. In March, he called off two concerts in Valencia, attributing the cancellations to sleep deprivation caused by festival noise. In January, a show in Atlanta was canceled hours before it was to begin due to "artist illness," with refunds automatically processed.
Previously, Morrissey canceled multiple dates in South America and Mexico in late 2025. In October, his planned December concerts in Turkey were removed from sale following a backlash over his past support for Israel. In September, gigs in Connecticut and Boston were canceled due to a "credible threat" to his life, leading to increased security precautions for his safety and that of the audience.
