Sabrina Washington has announced plans for a solo UK tour, dashing hopes for a permanent reunion of the R&B group Mis-Teeq. The tour, titled "A One Night Stand Just Ain't Enough," will celebrate Washington's career and the 25th anniversary of Mis-Teeq's debut.
The announcement comes after the group's recent sold-out reunion show at the OVO Arena Wembley, which reignited fan enthusiasm. Washington described the reaction to the reunion as "overwhelming" and stated that the tour offers a chance to connect with fans more intimately and celebrate the music she helped create, including hits like "Scandalous," "All I Want," "One Night Stand," and "Why." Her solo career highlights, such as "OMG" and "Make It Hot," will also be featured.
"Wembley was our One Night Stand, but as it turns out, a one night stand just ain't enough!" Washington said in a statement, referencing the tour title and the band's hit song. She aims for the tour to be a vibrant night out, encouraging fans to gather with friends and relive the energy of the clubs.
The Wembley performance last month saw Washington reunite with bandmates Alesha Dixon and Su-Elise Nash. This reunion followed a previous appearance on Britain's Got Talent earlier this year, which elicited mixed reactions from the public.
