Supermodel Miranda Kerr, 43, has shared the secrets behind her renowned complexion, attributing her flawless skin to a regime of high-tech at-home treatments and a surprising realization about their proper use.
Kerr revealed during an appearance on "Let's Be Honest with Kristin Cavallari" that her home is equipped with numerous beauty devices, including red light therapy, laser mats, and microcurrent machines. "I love it, it's something I have been into for a while! I have red lights and a laser mat for my body, I have it all going on!" she stated.
However, Kerr confessed to an "embarrassing mistake" she made for years: using the devices incorrectly. She discovered that these treatments are most effective when the skin is fully exposed. "I didn't realise you are really meant to be in it naked! You are not supposed to be in it in your pyjamas!" she joked.
"At 43 I am looking at all these things. At the end of the day, having healthy skin is the most beautiful thing," Kerr added, emphasizing her current priorities in her beauty routine.
Beyond her skincare regimen, Kerr also detailed her unique daily health practices. Her mornings begin with a shot of noni juice, a habit she has maintained for 30 years since she was 13. She describes noni juice, which originates from Tahiti, as a superfood rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, and even shares it with her youngest child.
This is followed by a homemade tea made from marshmallow leaf, which she believes is beneficial for gut health. Her early morning ritual also includes coconut yogurt with local honey and a portion of a banana. Only after completing this wellness routine does Kerr have her morning coffee, which she prepares with coconut milk, opting for a "mould-free and lead-free" brand called Fabula.
While not a significant fruit consumer, Kerr finds bananas to be a convenient snack due to their potassium content and portability.
