Supermodel Miranda Kerr became visibly emotional while discussing the profound bond she shares with her mother, Therese. In a recent interview with marie claire Australia, the 43-year-old mother of four expressed how much she misses her mother.
"I'm super close with my mum and it's incredible to see her as a grandma," Kerr said, her voice trembling. "I don't want to cry because I cry thinking about it. Obviously I miss her. I wish she lived around the corner."
Kerr, who shares son Flynn, 15, with ex-partner Orlando Bloom and three younger sons—Hart, seven, Myles, six, and Pierre, two—with her husband, billionaire businessman Evan Spiegel, revealed that she spends six months of the year with her parents.
She credits her mother as the driving force behind her strong work ethic, recalling her advice: "My mum always taught me, if you're going to do something, do it with your whole heart or don't do it at all." This philosophy, Kerr stated, is constantly on her mind.
The former Victoria's Secret model also shared details of her morning wellness routine, which she believes contributes to her radiant appearance. Her day begins with noni juice, a habit she has maintained since she was 13.
"Noni juice is a superfood, superfruit. It originates from Tahiti, but it can grow in other parts of the world like Australia too," Kerr explained. She consumes a 30ml shot each morning, noting its high antioxidant, vitamin, and mineral content, and even gives it to her youngest child. This is followed by homemade tea made from marshmallow leaf, which she finds beneficial for gut health, along with coconut yogurt, locally sourced honey, and a bite of banana. Only after completing this ritual does Kerr have her morning coffee, typically made with coconut milk instead of traditional cow's milk.
