The animated film "Minions & Monsters," the third movie centered on the popular characters, is now available for streaming on-demand. Audiences can rent the movie for $24.99 or purchase a digital copy for $29.99 through platforms such as Prime Video. A physical release on 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD is scheduled for September 8, with pre-orders available.
The film follows a new group of Minions as they travel the world seeking new masters. Their journey leads them to 1920s Hollywood, where they become stars in silent films. When the advent of talking pictures sidelines them, a trio of Minions decides to produce their own classic monster movie, titled "Minions y Monstras."
"Minions & Monsters" has been described as a tribute to Old Hollywood, incorporating numerous references for adult viewers. The cast includes Pierre Coffin as the voices of the Minions, Allison Janney, Christoph Waltz, Jeff Bridges, Jesse Eisenberg, Trey Parker, Zoey Deutch, Phil LaMarr, and Bobby Moynihan.
For those who prefer physical media, the 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD versions of "Minions & Monsters" will be released on September 8. Digital purchases offer permanent access to the film, while rentals provide a 30-day window to start watching and 48 hours to finish once playback begins. An Amazon account is required to purchase or rent the film on Prime Video.
