Actor Milo Ventimiglia and his wife, model Jarah Mariano, have welcomed their second child, a son named Rock-Anthony Makoa Ventimiglia. The announcement was made on Instagram, showcasing the family of five, including their dog.
Mariano shared the news, describing the recent weeks as "chaos, but in the best possible way." She expressed excitement for future family adventures with their son and their daughter, Ke'ala Coral.
The couple announced Mariano's pregnancy in January. Their daughter, Ke'ala Coral, was born in January 2025, approximately two weeks after the family lost their Los Angeles home and its contents in devastating wildfires.
At the time of their daughter's birth, Mariano, who married Ventimiglia in 2023, shared a touching Instagram post featuring the newborn's feet and their dog's paw. She captioned it, "Houseless, never homeless Welcome back Ke'ala Coral Ventimiglia 1.23.25." She detailed the evacuation due to the Palisades Fire on January 7th, which resulted in the loss of their current residence and a home under construction. Mariano noted that she had been 38 weeks pregnant and had previously evacuated during the Franklin Fire. She conveyed gratitude for being able to evacuate during daylight hours and emphasized that the family's health and safety were paramount. She also extended thanks to firefighters and those assisting those affected by the fires.
Ventimiglia and Mariano announced they were expecting their first child together in September 2024. Mariano posted a photo of her baby bump while on a paddleboard in Hawaii, with the caption "Baby on board!"
Weeks before welcoming their first child, the couple lost their Malibu home to wildfires that impacted Southern California. Ventimiglia spoke with CBS News about the experience, describing the emotional difficulty of witnessing their home burn. He recalled the security camera footage showing their house burning to the ground, noting that they had safely evacuated with their dog beforehand. He described the moment as "heavy" when he returned to the site of the destroyed house.
