Millie Bobby Brown, star of the hit series "Stranger Things," recently surprised second-grade students at PS 84 on New York City's Upper West Side with an acting lesson. The visit was part of the web series "Celebrity Substitute," where celebrities teach skills like acting, music video filming, and developing a fashion sense.

Students in the class had no prior knowledge of Brown's visit and reacted with excitement upon her arrival. During the lesson, Brown, 22, introduced acting terminology and demonstrated techniques for emotional expression and improvisation. One student described her accent as "so British," while another playfully offered acting advice.

The actress explained acting as the art of pretending, illustrating with an example of faking a rollercoaster ride. The lesson also included improv exercises and scene-building, with students showcasing exaggerated facial expressions.

In addition to the acting instruction, the students received a significant donation of new equipment for their drama department from Amazon. The gift included rehearsal mirrors, sets, costumes, lights, and other filming essentials, much to the delight of both students and teachers.

"They've been working so hard, so they deserve this. This is for them," one teacher, Ms. Toni Ann, commented on the students' reaction to the new equipment.
