Millie Bobby Brown and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, displayed public affection at the New York City premiere of Netflix's "Enola Holmes 3" on Thursday evening. The couple walked the red carpet together outside the Plaza hotel.
Bongiovi, son of rock musician Jon Bon Jovi, wore a blue suit, white shirt, black tie, and beige loafers.
Brown's father, Joseph Brown, also made a rare red carpet appearance for the event.
Also in attendance was Brown's "Stranger Things" co-star and close friend Noah Schnapp, 21. The two, who have known each other since they were 11, shared a hug and posed for photos.
Brown also posed with "Enola Holmes 3" director Philip Barantini and co-star Louis Partridge.
This public appearance follows recent remarks made by Brown on the "Not Gonna Lie" podcast, where she defended Bongiovi against what she described as "dad-shaming trolls." Earlier this year, images circulated online showing Brown carrying a car seat and multiple bags, and later pushing a stroller and suitcase simultaneously, which drew criticism directed at Bongiovi.
During the podcast, Brown stated, "When did women become incapable of holding their own bags, car seats and stuff?... Nobody knows my husband. My husband is the most polite, sweet, will-do-anything-for-me. But he also knows I'm capable."
Brown also shared that she has always dreamed of adopting children, recounting childhood instances where her dolls were adopted rather than her pretending to be pregnant. She expressed her intention to carry a biological child in the future. The couple announced the birth of their daughter last August, stating in a joint statement that they welcomed their child through adoption and were excited to begin their new chapter "in both peace and privacy."
