Miley Cyrus is featured in a striking new photoshoot for Wonderland Magazine, showcasing an edgy aesthetic in a series of black and white images. In one notable shot, the "Wrecking Ball" singer, 33, appears braless, with her jacket open, while another image shows her draped in a newspaper print crop top and bleached jeans, reclining on a car.

During an interview for the magazine, conducted by Daryl Hannah, Cyrus delved into her thoughts on creativity and artistic collaboration. She emphasized the importance of surrounding oneself with creative individuals, describing it as a contagious process that fosters growth. "They plant little seeds in my brain that grow into my own thought forest. Creativity breeds creativity. It multiplies when it is shared," Cyrus explained.

When asked about her favorite aspect of music creation, Cyrus expressed a deep connection to purpose and gifts, feeling closest to something larger than herself during the songwriting process. "Songwriting feels like crossing over to another side sometimes," she said. "A new song can feel like I’ve already heard it before. Even if it isn’t finished yet, I somehow know exactly what it is, almost like I’m remembering it instead of creating it. That’s the mystery I love."

Cyrus described her approach to making records, noting that a song is more than just its components; it's a feeling, an entity that communicates its needs. She values working with collaborators who are open-minded and free from ego, where curiosity drives the creative process and ideas can be freely explored or discarded. "There’s no ego in the room when it’s working. Just curiosity. It’s really special to be surrounded by people who want to surprise each other and are comfortable throwing an idea away or expanding on it," she stated.

Reflecting on her role in guest editing the magazine, Cyrus highlighted the satisfaction of seeing an idea through from conception to completion, driven by desire and inspiration rather than obligation. She also cherished the opportunity to champion artists she admires. "Being surrounded by kind people while creating beautiful imagery at the same time is the dream," she commented.
