Leticia Cline, the girlfriend of American Pickers star Mike Wolfe, is expected to undergo multiple surgeries and face a lengthy recovery after a serious car crash in Tennessee on Sept. 12, representatives said.
A spokesperson for Wolfe confirmed to TMZ that Cline, 46, remains hospitalized and will have procedures beginning next week once swelling decreases. Doctors said she suffered a broken jaw, fractured ribs and sternum, a partially collapsed lung and spinal swelling; she has had her jaw wired shut and was airlifted from the crash scene due to the severity of her injuries.
Wolfe, 61, who was also in the vehicle, was transported by ambulance and has been released from the hospital. He sustained a broken nose, an injured knee and facial lacerations that required stitches, the spokesperson said.
Both Wolfe and Cline have been receiving treatment since the collision. Wolfe posted on social media that the pair are “by the grace of God…both safe and okay” and that they are “expected to make a full recovery,” thanking followers for privacy and prayers. He also shared a photograph of the crushed vintage blue car involved in the crash and described the night as “rough” while expressing gratitude for support.
Cline has posted updates from the hospital, including a photo of herself in a neck brace beside Wolfe and another image of herself working from a hospital bed while hooked up to an IV, writing that missing a city council meeting would not stop her involvement. She also shared a photo showing her sister at her bedside and said the sister had been alerted by a health app after the crash.
A spokesperson indicated surgeons are waiting for swelling to subside before proceeding with the planned operations. Wolfe’s team said Cline is expected to make a full recovery, though doctors have outlined a long rehabilitation process given the extent of her injuries.
Wolfe and Cline have been in a relationship since 2021, the same year Wolfe’s divorce from ex-wife Jodi Catherine Wolfe was finalized. Representatives did not provide additional details about the cause of the crash or any other parties involved.
The couple’s medical updates and social media posts have drawn attention from fans and colleagues, and Wolfe’s representatives asked for privacy as Cline undergoes surgery and recovery. Further information on the timing and scope of the procedures was not immediately available.
