Actor Mickey Rourke recently made a public appearance in Los Angeles, noticeably without several teeth. The 73-year-old former professional boxer was seen wearing a stained grey zip-up sweatshirt with the hood pulled up, faded jeans, and aviator sunglasses while walking a small white dog.
This outing comes months after Rourke was evicted from his Los Angeles residence in late 2025 due to unpaid rent totaling nearly $60,000. According to legal documents filed by landlord Eric T. Goldie, Rourke owed $59,100 in rental fees. A default judgment was entered against Rourke in March when he failed to respond to the eviction notice within the legally required timeframe.
The court granted Goldie immediate possession of the property, ending Rourke's lease agreement. Rourke had been living in the three-bedroom home since March 30, 2025, under a lease agreement stipulating a monthly rent of $5,200.
Representatives for Rourke stated at the time of the eviction that the non-payment of rent was due to unacceptable living conditions. They cited ongoing rodent issues that were never fully resolved, and frequent problems with the bathroom and plumbing. Rourke’s team also stated that withholding rent was a difficult decision, made after repeated, unsuccessful attempts to have these issues corrected.
In response to the situation, fans initiated a GoFundMe campaign, raising approximately $100,000. However, Rourke declined the funds, describing the campaign as a "cruel embarrassment."
