Mick Jagger, 83, and his fiancée Melanie Hamrick, 39, were seen together at a charity event hosted by Alan Cumming at The Chancery Rosewood in London. The couple, who have been together since 2014 and became engaged in 2023, supported the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and Pets As Therapy (PAT) charities.
Jagger wore a stylish velvet jacket over a patterned shirt, while Hamrick opted for an all-black ensemble. The event brought together notable figures, volunteers, and animal lovers to raise funds for the animal welfare charities. Also present were Sophie Hermann, Dr. Rhona Eskander, and Tori Cadogan.
Jagger and Hamrick welcomed a son, Deveraux Octavian Basil, in 2016. He was Hamrick's first child and Jagger's eighth. Jagger also has seven other children from previous relationships.
Hamrick, in a September 2024 interview with The Times of London, stated she does not dwell on the age difference between her and Jagger. The couple met in Japan in February 2014 when both the Rolling Stones and the American Ballet Theatre, where Hamrick is a dancer, were on tour. They officially became a couple in June of that year.
Earlier this year, Jagger made a surprise live performance at a small pub in Oxfordshire, joining an Irish band to sing "Handsome Molly," altering the lyrics to reference Dublin. His impromptu performance stunned patrons, many of whom did not immediately recognize the rock icon.
